The Epcot international festival of the arts is our favorite of all the Epcot festivals. If your compiling a list of Disney top 10 or top 6 in our case then the Festival of the Arts Epcot is our number one rated festival. If there is one thing in common with all the epcot festivals then it would be epcot food. And we really enjoyed the epcot art festival 2019's offering when it comes to Disney dining. Beware though, Disney food doesn't come cheap, bring a thick wallet if your main reason for visiting epcot is to have the food. But this is an Disney vlog, actually it's an Epcot International Festival of the Arts vlog so we did take a drawing class to learn how to draw a classic Disney character. We also participated in painting the large paint by numbers mural.
Throughout World Showcase, there are several locations where you can step inside a famous painting and create your own version of history. You can take your own photos with your camera or phone but they’re included in the Disney Photo Pass package. However, if you don’t have the photo pass, we’ve mention this in other videos you can hand the Photopass photographer you camera or phone and they’ll snap a picture for you. And have to do is ask nicely. And I think, with the photopass, they usually include a fun little movie clip showing the famous painting and then your version. To find these photo ops, just keep an eye open for them as you walk around World Showcase.
Number five on the countdown of top six “festival of the arts must dos”…see a Disney on Broadway Performance. They added more days for the Broadway Performance this year. In previous years, these performances were not every day. But this year, here at the America Gardens Theater, the shows are NIGHTLY at 5:30 – 6:45 AND 8PM. It is such treat to be able to see this level of talent perform in a FREE concert. With this performance you’ll get songs from Disney classics like Tarzan, The Lion King, Aladdin, Little Mermaid and MORE. We’re not going to do it but you can buy Dining Packages that allow you to pair a reservation at a select Epcot-area restaurant with priority seating at the theater. Tonight’s performers are going to be Kerry Butler & Kevin Massey. Kevin Massey starred in the title role in Tarzan on Broadway. Kerry Butler is a previous Tony award nominee and also starred as Belle in Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast. I’ll leave a link in the video description for the full list of performances.
Number four on today’s list, eat or drink something beautiful and delicious. Hey, it wouldn’t be an Epcot festival if it didn’t involve lots of food and drinks, right? Let’s go find a few things.

Coming in at #3, visit the Animation Academy. Experience the magic of Disney animation first hand in the guided drawing class, led by a real Disney artist.
Do this probably ranks a little higher on our list because the theme park art that Nikki does for her Etsy shop or our youtube channel. She start off painting rocks and hiding them in theme parks for other to find and then moved on to making other theme park inspired paintings and opening an Etsy shop. In fact, she painted an item for today’s video that we’re going to leave behind for someone to find and keep.
Don’t just observe the art, participate in it. Join your fellow arts, young or old to complete this larger than life paint-by-numbers mural. Heck, even I have enough talent to paint in a few squares.

It’s really fun to watch it grow and see everyone painting it together. When you’re done you’ll be given a card showing the completed art.
