In Japan, a lot of supermarkets sell daikon after they’ve cut off the leaves.
However, daikon leaves have a lot more nutrients than the white part such as vitamin C and calcium.
Let's use the daikon leaves and become healthy!

~ Ingredients for 2 servings ~
150g of daikon leaves
20g of dried baby sardines
1 Tbsp of sesame oil
1 Tbsp of sugar
1 Tbsp of sake
1 Tbsp of mirin
1 Tbsp of soy sauce
1 Tbsp of sesame seeds
~Directions~
1. Wash daikon leaves and cut into about 1cm long. Then divide into stem part and leaf part.
2. Heat a pan on medium heat and place sesame oil.
3. Add chirimenjako or dried baby sardines and fry them until they get crispy.
4. Add stem part of daikon first and fry about 1 minute and add leaf part 5. in the pan and fry them.
5. When they get smaller, add sugar, sake, mirin and soy sauce in it, and turn up the heat to high and stir fry them.
6. Turn down the heat to medium and sprinkle sesame seeds and mix a little.
