Another tune I wanted to re-record since getting the new camera!.. this time I've gone for an entirely different arrangement of it compared to last time. This is a strictly acoustic, more traditional take on the melody.. and it's a real nice challenge to work up your picking technique!
I somehow managed to record this in just 1 take for both the chord work, and the lead part!.. pretty chuffed with that!
And of course, it’s a really great test of your internal “metronome” to see if you can keep a steady tempo from start to finish when laying down the chords unaccompanied.. something that I constantly recommend my students take upon themselves to do.

Currently without a "gypsy jazz" Selmer/Maccaferri type of guitar.. but I've owned many in the past and to be honest, the gypsy sound and feel is much more about technique.. especially with the pick, than it is about the gear.. as always! I think the Martin HD28v does an admirable job anyway.
