The UK's booster drive to beat the Omicron super-variant was mired in chaos yet again today, with desperate Brits left queuing for hours and furious GPS warning they had already run out of doses.
Britons wanting to book in for their third vaccine were stuck in online queues once again this afternoon due to 'extremely' high demand, with people struggling to get through told to 'try again tomorrow'. Others headed to walk-in clinics from 6am, arriving two hours before they even opened, in the hope of securing a booster before Christmas (pictured, a centre in Bristol). Adults in the queue complained of having to wait up to three hours, and younger Britons said they had got to the front only to be turned away. It comes after Boris Johnson told the nation in a televised address on Sunday night that everyone would be offered top-up jabs to beat the Omicron variant.
