Here's a song that was one of the numbers of the stage musical "Mame," which was based on a 1955 novel and the 1956 Broadway play, "Auntie Mame." The venerable Angela Lansbury starred as the lead character when the musical opened in 1966, and she won a Tony Award for her performance. While not a traditional Christmas song, We Need A Little Christmas has become a holiday staple through the years, and has been covered by many musical acts.
