Brian White was just a baby when he was abandoned by his family in Zimbabwe. At the age of fifteen, he was adopted by a British couple who brought him to the UK and though he has excelled at school, Brian has no legal right to settle permanently in the UK. He could even face deportation back to Zimbabwe if his latest application for residence fails.
