Alleged apparitions of St. Joseph in Itapiranga, Brazil, to Edson Glauber Coutinho.
These apparitions were approved by the local Bishop, Dom Carillo Gritti on 31 January, 2010, and the construction of a shrine was begun. However, after Bishop Carillo’s death in 2016, the Diocesan Administrator had advised the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith to withdraw approval. This apparition is currently under reinvestigation. A small selection of the apparitions of St. Joseph leading up to the initial approval are listed here for discernment. The visionary, Edson Glauber Coutinho, passed away on + 27 May 2021. God rest his soul.
