Atlanta police find
35 pounds of marijuana
after minor traffic stop!
The creator of the video posted this on social media. "On January 17, 2023, officers assigned to Zone 2’s Crime Suppression Unit, stop a vehicle on Peachtree Rd. NE near E. Shadowlawn Ave. NE for multiple minor traffic violations. While speaking with the driver of the vehicle, the officers smell the strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The driver denied there was any marijuana in the car. The officers detained the driver and searched the vehicle. While searching the vehicle, officers located a duffle bag in the trunk filled with 35 lbs. of marijuana.
The suspect was as being 34-year-old Lawrence Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey was charged with, Trafficking Illegal Drugs, Failure to Signal, and Brake Light Violation."
