Wat voor Notebook kun je kopen voor onder de 300 euro
en wat voor Laptop onder de 400 euro.
Today we are at the Mediamarkt again and we take a look at several Notebooks under 300 euro and Laptops under 400 euro.
We learn that all of them are running Windows 10 and we also take a look into the BIOS to see if there is a Legacy mode to install another OS on this X86 hardware if wished.
Many have a normal looking Bios with UEFI build in but with no visual Legacy mode , so I think with some hacking these could run Linux , (NOT SURE ABOUT THE DRIVERS ) but the one that made the difference was PEAQ , and I was amazed to see that PEAQ is the one and only Notebook from all the reviewed once like Lenovo ASUS , etc , that also has a Build in 500 GB besides the 32 SSD drive build inn and a Celeron processor from Intel.
We learn from this that PEAQ will be the next to lead in the OPEN SOURCE devices that will be available , because it seems that the rest of the manufactures play safe and block fantastic machines from doing other suff then the OS it came with.
It is sad that X86 hardware is being monopolized in this way and that even APPLE MAC USERS can at all time install Windows and even LINUX as I show in many of my videos , but now a days X86 hardware users are locked up in the dark , very very disappointing.
Never the less we have PEAQ and I hope PEAQ will keep the legacy OPTION available so opensource and maybe even Windows Users will go for your devices , just because..
