Lisa Wilkinson's TODAY colleagues have shared a heartfelt message for her after she broke arm while holidaying in Europe.

"We just wanted to send lots of love to Lisa this Monday morning after her fall in Italy on Friday," Karl Stefanovic said on the TODAY program. "Now Lisa has broken her arm in two places and has had to cut her holiday short to come home for surgery."

"Yeah, not quite the mid-winter break that she was hoping for" Sylvia Jeffreys added. "It's a pretty nasty injury. We cant wait to see you back here at the desk when you are fit and ready to do so and in the meantime we are sending you lots of love and hugs and we wanna make sure you get well soon."
