On November 1, 2024, Neiko Akami, Member Secretary of the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority, inaugurated a legal aid clinic at Baptist College, Kohima. Akami highlighted the clinic's dedication to providing free legal services, addressing essential rights such as the right to education and the right to information. Chief Judicial Magistrate Wokono Yhoshii encouraged students to utilize the clinic as a resource for promoting legal awareness and ensuring justice for all. The event also featured remarks from Interim Principal Dr. Kewpfuzu Lohe and was led by Assistant Professor Naro, the convenor of the Legal Aid Committee.
