Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is thrilled to offer a very unusual automobile, a 1938 Fiat Topolino! The Topolino was one of the smallest cars in the world at the time of its production. Launched in 1936, three models were produced until 1955. Nearly 520,000 were sold.
Our bright red and yellow flamed Topololino is quite a sight to behold! Painted in the brightest of red with yellow flames on the front, this mighty Topolino (Little Mouse in Italian) has the appearance of a Funny Car race car that you might see tearing up the dragstrip. And, although this Topolino can roar loudly when prompted, this one-of-a-kind eye-catcher is really quite streetable and runs on pump gas.
With power supplied by a Chevrolet V-6 engine, the possibilities of winning a race to the next stop light on Main Street is vastly improved via a more than recommended supply of air to fuel mixture that is forced into the engine by a 471 blower! This uncommon power adder sits neatly atop the engine, and a very cool air filter that protrudes through the hood for all to see, sits on top of the blower. Stay out of the blower with light use of the gas pedal and acquired speeding tickets will lessen, as well.
And, if all of this excitement isn't enough for you add racing style wheels and seats, AM/FM stereo, power windows, power locks, tilt steering wheel, power antenna and keyless entry, you'll be making excuses to run to your local grocery store.
