Crash Ensemble: 20 years
24th and 25th November 2017, The National Concert Hall, Dublin.
To mark Crash Ensemble’s 20th anniversary at the cutting edge of new music, the group commissioned new work from 20 Irish and international composers.
The works were premiered as part ‘CrashLands’ throughout summer 2017- in iconic rural locations scattered across Ireland.
This concert see’s Crash return to their home at the National Concert Hall to perform all 20 works over two nights. With films from CrashLands by filmmaker and cinematographer Brendan Canty (Feel Good Lost) and poems written in response to the tour from bi-lingual poet Doireann Ní Ghríofa.
