With land use planning determining the destiny of the Yukon's Peel watershed, I've been inspired to interview people here from many walks of life. I've been espec ially interested in values which are not quantifiable, which don't appear on maps, but which are essential nevertheless. thanks to everyone for the time they took to share.
I've also included footage I've taken in the Peel watershed. There is one underwater shot of salmon which is actually from the Yukon river (I don't have any from the Peel) but fish is an important part of the subsistence diet in the watershed. Of t6he several caribou shots, one slow motion shot was taken further north on the Firth river, though that heard (Porcupine Caribou) does overwinter in and around the Peel watershed.
