On February 1-4, 2022, the Environmental Peacebuilding Association and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies hosted the Second International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding online. The details for this session are below:
The session sheds light on the interwoven relationship between Environmental Peacebuilding and Sustainable Development with a keynote speech by Lise Grande, President and CEO of the United States Institute of Peace (USIP). The panel discussion invites a distinguished cadre of diplomats and policy experts to continue exploring Environmental Peacebuilding at the emblematic Stockholm+50, to be held in June 2022. The panel triggers two reflections: first, how can Environmental Peacebuilding foster Sustainable Development? And second, what does the future have in store for policy on Environmental Peacebuilding, both at the Stockholm+50 and beyond? This session concludes by projecting the continuity of the field and its contribution to a peaceful and sustainable future moving forward.
This session has simultaneous English-French-Spanish interpretation. This is the English version.
