This Tu B'Shvat, plant trees in Israel's Biblical Heartland!
As we begin the new agricultural season in Israel, we celebrate the Jewish holiday of Tu B'Shvat and will be planting trees in Ofra, a Jewish settlement in the Shomron.
We planted trees in Ofra just a few weeks ago with groups from Taiwan and Brazil and days later, a pregnant woman was critically wounded and six others lightly or moderately injured in a drive-by shooting attack near in Ofra, which took place on the last night of Hanukkah.Doctors delivered the baby of Shira and Amichai Ish-Ran prematurely due to the attack. He died three days later.
The parents named their baby Amiad Israel (our people are here forever).
