(24 Oct 2017) Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi met with French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian on Tuesday, ahead of meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.
French authorities see Egypt as a key country in efforts to stabilise the troubled region.
El-Sissi is on a three-day visit to France focusing on economic cooperation and the fight against extremism.
