Some of the world-famous carnival bands in Brazil will be coming to Guyana for the upcoming cricket carnival in September, according to Guyana's Tourism, Industry and Commerce Minister Oneidge Walrond. The minister, during a recent interview with the News Room, noted that the inclusion of these bands is part of the revival of efforts geared at twinning Guyana's tourism product with that of northern Brazil.
