This is for PC. It's a faster route for the any% speedrun on the Steam version and the Japanese version.
There's a high chance of getting hit when attacked from behind if you have 2 dead characters. This allows to use the invalid field warp to go through the mine, watch the Turks cutscene and avoid warping to Corel.
There's a small chance that enemies don't hit you from behind, warping you to the reactor instead of killing you. If this happens, you can reload the first game in the reactor, die and getting attacked from behind again.
To get some precise encounters like encounter 50, 51 or 65, you may need a table of IGT. This makes getting these encounters consistent.
In the video, I mention a bug with Barret. In some cases in the back row, enemies from behind hit you like if you were in the front row. It seems to be about the order of characters, the slot, and which enemy attacks you. Until someone understands what causes this, if you want to be safe you can get under 45 hp, but 90 hp should be fine.
