Port St. Lucie Police Chief John Bolduc talks about Goal 1, Safe, Clean and Beautiful, and how the department will work hard to maintain the City's designation as safest large city in Florida, including add another patrol district, District 5, in Tradition.
For example, in fall of 2021, City Council voted to reduce the speed limit to 25 mph on all neighborhood streets. The police department will educate residents, and if necessary, enhance enforcement. The department also is looking forward to getting back into the community through its community outreach program.
Construction of its new training facility will be underway this year and the department also will be rolling out body-worn camera, after a successful pilot program.
