What happens when you combine 4 Nuts in Kare-Kare? Honestly? I
did’t know what to expect compared to the usual Kare-Kare that just
uses peanuts.
I am truly amazed at how delicious this new combination is.
Kare-kare is one of my favorite Filipino dishes. It’s a dish that most
Filipinos look for when they are in a restaurant. Originally this dish
comes from Pampanga which is just north of Manila in the Philippines.

Although the name ''Kare'' means “curry,” you could say that a loose translation of kare-kare is “really good curry.” It doesn't
taste like curry at all. It's not spicy, it's not hot, it has more of a smooth
and warming taste. It is a stew with meat, peanut sauce and an
assortment of vegetables and I’m using 4 different kind of nuts
inspired by Ninong Ry..., And the taste is smooth and exceptional.
