Oscar Pistorius is spending his first night back in jail as a convicted and sentenced murderer. The disgraced athlete was sentenced to six years behind bars for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in February 2013. Judge Thokozile Masipa found that he was a suitable candidate for rehabilitation - and did not deserve hefty sentence.
In December last year, the Supreme Court of Appeal overturned his earlier conviction of culpable homicide.
