i went to Roskilde with my good friend André to see the Viking Ship Museum, number 4 on my list of 100 things worth seeing in Denmark.

the museum itself isn't that interesting; it's just 5 very old viking ships that they found at the bottom of Roskilde fjord. it is interesting to walk around outside and see they are building new replica ships using the same tools and techniques as the vikings would have used.

absolutely the best bit was getting in an actual viking ship and sailing out in the fjord. i thoroughly recommend that you buy the ticket for the sailing trip, and the rest is kind of a bonus!
