Banking giant HSBC will cut 35,000 jobs over the next three years and shed assets in a major overhaul.
The bank's interim chief executive Noel Quinn said HSBC would scale back its headcount from 235,000 to about 200,000 over the next three years.
HSBC reported its 2019 profit before tax was over 13 billion, down from over 19 billion the previous year.
The bank said the coronavirus outbreak had significantly affected its staff and customers.
