David Shorr was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease at 56. He’s one of the first in the United States to participate in a clinical trial at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center that uses non-invasive methods to aim low-intensity focused ultrasound to open the blood-brain barrier and deliver Alzheimer’s treatment more directly to the brain tissue.
