During the Covid-19 crisis, sales reps and clinical specialists are not permitted into most hospitals to give an in-service even though this virus has caused a major increase in dialysis access insertions. Often due to this demand, physicians are having to place catheters they are not too familiar with becuase they are using whatever they can get in stock. I wanted to find a way to get the information to the clinicians, so I thought Youtube might be a great option. I shot some videos of what an actual in-service might look like, minus the kitchen table and occasional child home on quarantine heard in the background. Everyone is in the same boat right now, so not studio shot, but hopefully someone will find this informative and helpful. If I can help one person it would be well worth the effort. I am an IR Tech and have been for many years, so I understand the importance of making sure the physicians and staff are very comfortable with the tools they are using. MedCOMP really does have the best dialysis catheters on the market and a wide selection, I know from experience.
This video in-service demonstrates the MedCOMP Split-Cath LT Dialysis Catheter.
