The Modi government is going to change the salary revision policy of the central government employees. There is talk that the government is looking into the idea of reviewing the salary of the employees every year opposite to the current pattern were the salaries of the government employees is reviewed every 10 years. Justice A K Mathur who headed the 7th Pay Commission said that the government must review the salary of central government employees every year looking into the data available based on price index.
