After spending a short week in Sacramento, CA, we packed our bags and returned to Nanning, China. This time, we flew out of Sacramento (SMF) as it was more convenient. However, there were layovers in San Francisco and Shanghai (20 hours). We had to rent a hotel by the airport in Shanghai to spend the night. On the bright side, we get to explore Shanghai for a bit and also get a chance to meet up with a Mien family from the US in Shanghai.
