Lloyd Center Portland Oregon Exploring An Abandoned Mall. We are going into LLOYD CENTER possibly Oregon's Deadest Mall. Opened in 1960 this place has seen better days. Big abandoned mall that's still open in Portland, Oregon called The Lloyd Center. DEAD MALL - LLOYD CENTER - PORTLAND OREGON. It's not completely abandoned but it's close. We used to stop by this mall whenever we visited Portland, free parking, a decent food court, and low-fee ATMs were all a great draw. It seems the mall is set to be torn down which is a shame - I guess next time we come to Portland we'll have to pay for parking. You have have an nostalgia for this mall we encourage you to go and enjoy it while you can, it won't be around for much longer.
