This innovative multidisciplinary exhibition is organised by Professor Monica Lakhanpaul, Professor of Integrated Community Child Health at UCL in partnership with India Alliance with Dr Kartik Sharma, Filmmaker and Founder of Public Arts Health & Us (PAHUS) India as the project co-lead. The virtual exhibition has been curated by Alex Florschutz, Founder of Zero2 Expo, UK.
The exhibition will showcase photographs from the PANChSHEEEL project, (a UCL and Save the Children collaboration), selected artwork from the UK’s Birthing a Better Future Art & Science Exhibition (first launched at the UK Houses of Parliament), creative submissions from Indian rural and urban artists and researchers, and drawings by children from Nagariya Panchela Senior Secondary School and Padli Gujreshwar, Dungarpur on their experiences of the pandemic.
At the launch, the power of art in public health and multi-pronged approaches to support ‘The Early Years’ was explored through panel discussions featuring experts from the fields of science, health, policy and the arts.
