Polish President Andrzej Duda has officially appointed Beata Szydło as prime minister, Polish news channel TVN24 said on November 13. The ceremony took place at the presidential palace in Warsaw. Szydlo replaces Eva Kopacz, whose Cabinet resigned on Thursday, November 12.
