Is Beyond All Reason (BAR) more than just a copy/clone of the goat RTS, Total Annihilation (TA)? I set out to investigate with a ton of Beyond All Reason gameplay.

At some point I was having so much fun that I forgot my mission, but I think it's safe to say that this game is truly special in its own right. Excitement is building towards the eventual Steam launch!

Join me as we look at the mechanics and design choices that makes this (and Supreme Commander + TA before it) such incredible fun to play. I'll also look at the features that ensure BAR will be fit to take the genre in to future generations, guided by the development team's Steam Roadmap (what the game MUST get right before it goes on Steam).
