After a number of years dormant the talented Good Family revives its fashion business under the direction of Aunalee Boyd-Good and Sophia Good-Seward. In this movie you will see and hear from both William Good and Sandra Moorhouse-Good, parents of and mentors to Aunalee and Sophia. Sandra speaks of how she and her husband William founded their business and how their daughters are now "taking the reins" and carrying on the fine legacy of Coast Salish-inspired fashion design.
You will also get to see the first Good House of Design fashion show which took place at the Awaken the Spirit Aboriginal art show and cultural festival which took place in December of 2015 at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre in Nanaimo, B.C. The show was moderated by Aunalee and assisted by her mother Sandra with local people serving to model both "vintage" and "new generation" Good family fashion designs and you will hear from both Aunalee and Sophia themselves as they explain their vision for this new phase of the family business.
We also get to see and hear from Sophia's young son Raymond and learn how he is in the way of, in turn, carrying on the family tradition!
