Tight supply has been exacerbated by an inefficient transition to renewables, a return to pre-COVID levels of demand and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. At a time when inventories of oil and products are at extremely low levels, current events have led to a significant increase in the prices of oil, natural gas, and related products and supplies are only expected to tighten. ⛽ 🛢️

📈 Escalating gasoline prices, the extreme global shortages of diesel, and soaring costs related to heating/ transportation/ production, factor into everything we buy. Higher natural gas and diesel prices have contributed to skyrocketing fertilizer costs, and the UK & Germany’s reliance on Russian gas and oil is resulting in calls for increased supply.
