(AP) A Georgia sheriff has released video of a violent struggle between a deputy and a Black man he pulled over that shows the driver forcing the deputy's head backward with his hands before the deputy shoots him at point-blank range. The slain man's brother, Michael Cure, said he doesn't believe Cure should have been shot during Monday's confrontation. He said he thinks Cure resisted arrest because of mental problems stemming from 16 years he spent falsely imprisoned in Florida. Authorities agreed to release Cure and vacate his conviction for armed robbery in 2020 after reviewing his case.
