Soledad Mountain- La Jolla- San Diego, California. Here, I take a use trail that drops down from just southwest of the memorial cross area and heads south down the sunny slope. I am not sure if it connects to the neighborhood down below or how long this narrow path continues! It will take some navigation, but great relatively short hiking trips can be custom-made to explore the slopes downslope from the cross. I will likely soon be making another trip to follow some more of the trail system around Mt. Soledad!
