Renowned for its ability to provide solace to a grieving heart and its healthful properties, Talbinah is a traditional porridge made from barley and water. Easy to digest and nutritious, it is sweetened with Date Crown Date Syrup offering a delightful taste and nourishing benefits.
Ingredients:
250 ml cup milk
2 cup Barley
1 tsp Date Crown Date Syrup
1-2 Springdale Cottage Pitted Dates
2 tbsp Springdale Cottage Baked Cashews
2 tbsp Springdale Cottage Baked Almonds
Steps:
1. Soak barley in water for 3 to 4 hours.
2. In a pot, add the soaked barley and water and stir.
3. Let it boil for 15 minutes.
4. Add barley to the blender and blend the barley till smooth.
5. Transfer the paste into a pot and add milk.
6. Mix well until the texture thickens.
7. Serve inside a serving bowl and let it cool for 2 hours.
8. Drizzle with Date Crown Date Syrup.
9. Top it up with Springdale Cottage Baked Almonds and Springdale Cottage Baked Cashews.
