Digital Impression Technique or Intra Oral Scanning is used in Implantology to record Three dimensional position of implant in patient’s mouth.

Scan body or Scan Abutment is attached to implant during Scanning

Again Scanning is done without scan body to record Peri-Implant gingival architecture, this is known as Gingival Scanning

Details of Scan body are emailed to the Dental Lab along with digital analogue, and Abutment.

Model is 3D printed in acrylic and digital analogue is then attached to in it.

Abutment design should be selected and informed to lab.

Intra Oral Scanning provides accurate 3D position of Implant to lab and thus precise Prosthetic Work can be accomplished.
