While pushing the bike along a very bumpy canal-towpath the other day, I caught my right leg a few times on the left pedal when the bike suddenly stopped after coming up against a stone or tree-root. After some 'choice' language, I hit upon the (by now obvious!) idea of folding up the left pedal while pushing the bike in such circumstances - I hope others may find this idea helpful!
It was the Worcester and Birmingham canal by the way - which is very pretty. Check out my videos to see what I mean.
