I reached out to Sainsmart about a benchtop CNC machine that I could use to help introduce people to using a CNC in the workshop. They surprised me by sending out a beast of a benchtop CNC with the PROVerXL 6050 Plus machine! This thing is built like a tank and its weight shows it coming in around 120 lbs! The large Nema23 stepper motors, lead screws and linear rails keep it moving smoothly and precisely.
I'll cover the general specs and then test it out for some common uses of a small workshop CNC. Stay tuned; I can't wait to do more projects with this one!
