Cadillac is introducing the Optiq, a small electric crossover, to its portfolio. The compact SUV shares the all-wheel drive powertrain with the Chevrolet Equinox EV, producing 300 horsepower. Its 85.0 kWh battery pack can cover around 300 miles. The interior is more opulent with a 33.0-inch curved display screen and recycled textile upholstery. The entry-level Optiq is expected to be a larger draw in Cadillac showrooms than high-end electrics like the Escalade IQ and Celestiq sedan. The Optiq will be part of the luxury brand's expanding electric car lineup.
