The Severn Valley Railway's 2019 Autumn Steam Gala had a Southern Theme and took place on the 19th, 20th, 21st & 22nd September 2019
Visiting Locomotives for the event:
SR Q-Class No. 30541
SR 'West Country' No.34092 'City Of Wells'
BR 'Standard 4' No. 76017
In addition, although classed as 'Home Fleet' for the event, both GWR Large Prairie No. 4144 & GWR Hall No. 6930 'Ravingham Hall' (a former SVR Resident) were in action at the event. (Both have been operating on the SVR throughout the 2019 season)
Home fleet locomotives in operation: 1450, 75069 & 34027 'Taw Valley'.
1501 & 7714 were used on Overnight Services
2857 & 43106 were standby engines for the majority of the event but saw some use.
