Kastellorizo is one of the most remote Greek islands. With a population of just a few hundred people, you can get here from Rhodes by boat (6 hours) or by plane (30 mins). The island has some historic sites such as a castle and a monastery that you can hike up to on the mountain. I also visited the Blue Grotto cave on a small boat trip. There is no mass tourism here as there isn't enough accommodation for that and it's too far from anywhere else for just a day trip.
