Dream catchers are Native American meshwork for catching bad dreams and filtering good dreams hung on the crib or bed of sleeping babies. It is purported to stop nightmares and enhance the capture of good or sweet dreams. The philosophy is based on Red Indian tradition and superstition and not on sound science or scriptures. The so-called spider lady of the village weaves this catcher and give to families initially. Later, as the local population increased, the natives started making their own dream weavers. The dream catcher is now associated or incorporated into the New Age movement and witchcraft. We mentioned it to condemn it that it's not of God or based on scriptures and can actually complicate problems. All children of God should resist or desist from using this evil object which can serve as a point of contact to attract the higher-ranking demons instead of familiar spirits.
