Hyderabad, Nov 28 (ANI): Union External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj addressed the assumptions doing rounds regarding resumption of dialogues with Pakistan owing to the cordial construction of the Kartarpur Corridor by the two nations. The Union Minister said, “For many years the Indian Government has been asking for this (Kartarpur) corridor, only now Pakistan responded positively. It doesn’t mean the bilateral dialogue will start because of this, terror and talks can’t go together.” She also responded to Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu’s visit and her decision to not attend the ground-breaking ceremony for the Kartarpur Corridor in Pakistan. She clarified by saying that her reasons were such that she had to be in Telangana and hence couldn’t go, “but his (Sidhu’s) visit must be clarified by Congress or their Chief Minister (Amarinder Singh),” she added.
