From Chennai to National Capital, women students are staging protests demanding safety at campuses. Most recently, students of Kalakshetra Foundation hit the streets holding demonstrations against sexual harassment by faculty member. Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin took cognizance of the matter and addressed the issue in the assembly. Few days later, cops arrested college professor over the harassment allegations and three others in the case. In Delhi, DCW summoned DU officials and Delhi police to investigate the repeated cases of sexual harassment at campuses, the most recent one was at the Indraprastha College for Women.
