It's no secret that 2014 was a challenging growing year in the Barolo zone, producers battling periods of cool, rainy weather, fungus and mildew & bouts of hail. Nonetheless, some areas such as La Morra, where Roberto & Davide Voerzio harvest the vineyards of Brunate, Cerequio & La Serra, seemed to have escaped the worst. In this video, Davide shares his cautious optimism that the grapes harvested looked quite good and while not a powerful vintage, their 2014's should yield very good wine.
