Some Waves plugins are very nice, but the installation, complicated updating system, price plans, and now their recent (as of April 2023) bombshell of forcing subscriptions on all customers, all push me to start to look around for other plugins to replace what I use most from them.

I suggest you do the same for future projects. We musicians should not be treated with such rudeness and contempt.
