I posted my 2023 intentions last January with a plan & a team to help me execute it through the year.
It was smooth sailing from there – or so I thought. However, as the year progressed, I found myself heading into uncharted waters with the wind blowing in a different direction, making me feel scared.
The quote by Jimmy Dean “I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination” reminded me that while I may not be able to control my circumstances, I can always control my response to them.
Admittedly, there were moments when I struggled to keep to control of my response. But after taking some time off I adjusted my sails several times & I achieved everything on my plan & even more.
