And the beautiful Jewish life, which is in Hungary, which was just developing in Ukraine, should again return to its remaining place and I hope that this help will not be needed for too long anymore."

"My plan is to stay here until the war ends but I think if the war continues for years, for more than a year and we find our new place here - I don't mean right here in this place - I mean outside of Ukraine - and my children have a new education and new place to continue their education, I think we should stay here. But right now we still have hope to return home after several months or within a year."

22. SOUNDBITE (English) Rabbi Mayer Stambler, leader of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine:
"Many people that left the country, the longer the war will happen, they will feel comfortable where they are and I'm not sure they're going to come back. But again, you know, it's important to understand, we're not building a business, we're building communities and we're helping people. So if they feel comfortable - of course Israel is the natural place for a Jew to stay - I will be only happy. If some of them stay in Hungary and they feel good, it's also great."
